Applications :
Used for selective isolation of Neisseria species.
Composition :
| Vancomycin | 1.50 mg/vial |
| Colistin methane sulphonate | 3.75 mg/vial |
| Nystatin | 6250 units/vial |
Directions :
- Aseptically add 2 ml of sterile distilled water to 1 vial.
2. Mix well and aseptically add to sterile cooled media at 45-50°C and dispense as desired.
3. Add 2 ml (1 vial) of VCN supplement to 440 ml of Thayer-Martin Medium, Base (44521), Transgrow Medium.
4. Add 2 ml (1 vial) of VCN supplement to 250 ml of GC Agar Base(72464).
