DESCRIPTION:

 Reverse transcription polymerase chain reaction or RT-PCR is a modification of polymerase chain reaction for amplifying data contained in a RNA by converting it to a complementary DNA and then amplifying it. The key to forming cDNA is the reverse transcriptase enzyme which uses an oligo dT or a random hexamer to synthesize cDNA also called “first strand reaction”.Taq DNA polymerase then amplifies the cDNA using gene specific primers, this reaction is called “second strand reaction”. The kit provides enough components to carry out 20 reactions of RT-PCR (Set of 4 reaction each).
