STET Lysis Solution is a commonly used buffer for the lysis of bacterial cells such as E. coli for plasmid DNA isolation. Its provided in a ready-to-use solution format for rapid and efficient bacterial lysis.
The buffer contains Sucrose, Triton X, EDTA and Tris which help in maintaining the osmotic pressure, cleaving the cell wall, chelating agent and buffering of the solution respectively in the plasmid isolation procedure.
