Description
Ready to use protein molecular weight marker is a mixture of purified proteins that resolves to 5 bands when electrophoresed on a sodium dodecyl sulphate-polyacrylamide gel (SDS-PAGE). The protein concentrations are optimized to yield bands of approximately equal intensities. The marker is supplied in 25 mM Tris-HCl pH 6.8, 0.8% SDS, 2% beta-mercaptoethanol, 0.004% bromophenol blue and 50% glycerol. The marker is supplied in gel loading buffer and does not require boiling. The protein, their respective molecular weights (MW) are as follows.
