Description
The Quantum™ PCR marker (medium range) consists of a proprietary plasmid that is digested to completion with appropriate restriction enzymes to yield 5 double stranded DNA bands that are suitable for use as molecular weight standards for agarose gel electrophoresis. The digested DNA includes fragments ranging from 100 – 4500 base pairs. Four bands of 4500 – 400 bp are visible and useful for quantification. The 5th band of 100 bp may not be visible.
Storage Conditions : Supplied in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 8.0) and 10 mM EDTA.
