Description
Kit contains reagents for quick, cost effective preparation of chemically competent cells for transformation of bacteria. The competent cells can be used immediately or stored at -70oC. Typically transformation efficiency is greater than or equal to 105 to 106 transformants per microgram using E.coli DH5α and pUC19 plasmid DNA depending upon the experimental conditions. Reagents are sufficient to carry out 25 transformations of 100µl each of competent cells. All reagents are supplied in sterile condition.
