Composition:
Ingredients : gm/lt.
Tryptose : 10.00
Meat extract : 10.00
Sodium acetate, hydrated : 5.00
Yeast extract : 1.50
Starch : 1.00
Dextrose : 1.00
L-cysteine hydrochloride : 0.50
Directions:
1. Add 29.00 gm powder to 1.0 liter of distilled/deionized water and mix thoroughly.
2. Gently heat and bring to boiling.
3. Autoclave at 15 psi pressure at 121°C for 15 minutes.
4. To 25 ml of single strength medium, add 0.5 ml of filter sterilized solution prepared by mixing equal volumes of 4.0% Sodium sulphite and 7.0% Ferric citrate.
5. To 10.0 ml or 50.0 ml double strength medium, add 0.4 ml and 2.0 ml of the above solution.
