| Applications: Selective and differential medium for isolation of yeasts and moulds from milk and milk products. Composition: Ingredients : gms/lt. Yeast extract : 4.00 Dextrose : 20.00 Chromogenic mixture : 1.10 Agar : 12.00 Directions: 1. Add 18.55 gm powder to distilled/deionized water. 2. Bring volume to 500.0 ml and mix thoroughly. 3. Gently heat and bring to boiling. 4. Autoclave at 15 psi pressure at 121°C for 15 minutes. 5. If desired, dispense aseptically contents of one vial of Oxytetra Selective Supplement. (51521) to 500.0 ml media. 6. Mix well and pour into sterile plates. | |
