Inoculum (cfu) 10-100 Growth : Good
Lecithinase : Positive (Opaque zone around the colony)

  Applications
Used for selective isolation of Clostridium botulinum.

Composition
Cycloserine : 125.0mg/vial
Sulphamethaoxazole : 38.00mg/vial
Trimethoprim : 2.00mg/vial

Directions:
1) Aseptically add 2 ml of ethanol to 1 vial.
2) Mix well and aseptically add to sterile cooled media at 45-50°C along with 50ml Egg Yolk Emulsion and pour in sterile petriplates.
3) Add 2 ml ( 1 vial) of supplement along with 50ml Egg Yolk Emulsion to 450 ml of Clostridium Botulinum Isolation Agar, Base(40980) .
