Specifications

Composition :

Peptone : 10.00 gm/lit.
Yeast extract : 1.00 gm/lit.
Dextrose : 40.00 gm/lit.
Agar : 15.00 gm/lit.
Bromocresol Green : 0.02 gm/lit.
pH at 25 °C : 6.1 ± 0.1
Storage : Store between 8-25 °C.

Notes

Directions :

1.Add 66.02 gm powder to distilled/deionized water.
2.Bring volume to 1.0 liter and mix thoroughly.
3.Heat gently and bring to boiling.
4.Autoclave at 15 psi pressure at 121°C for 15 minutes.
5.Cool the medium to 50-55°C and add sterile
Neomycin(500ug/ml).Mix well.

Applications:
For use with added Neomycin for isolation and differentiation of Candida from primary specimens.
