Notes
  Application:
Used with addition of blood and antibiotics in isolation and cultivation of Campylobacter species.

Composition:
Ingredients : gm/lt.
Proteose peptone : 15.00
Sodium chloride : 5.00
Liver digest : 2.50
Yeast extract : 5.00
Agar : 12.00

Directions:
1. Add 39.50 gm powder to 1.0 liter of distilled/deionized water and mix thoroughly.
2. Gently heat and bring to boiling.
3. Autoclave at 15 psi pressure at 121°C for 15 minutes.
4. Cool to 45-50°C and aseptically add 5.0 -7.0% sterile lysed horse blood or 10% sterile defibrinated sheep blood and Campylobacter Supplement I (Blaser - Wang) or Campylobacter Supplement II (Skirrow).
5. Mix well and dispense into sterile petri plates.
