  Applications:
Used for the isolation of Clostridium perfringens from food samples.

Composition:
Ingredients : gm/lt.
Yeast extract : 20.00
Casein enzymic hydrolysate : 50.00
Peptic digest of animal tissue : 5.00
Dextrose : 4.00
Disodium phosphate : 5.00
Sodium thioglycollate : 1.00

Directions:
1 Add 85.00 gm powder to distilled/deionized water.
2 Bring volume to 1.0 liter and mix thoroughly.
3 Gently heat and bring to boiling.
4 Dispense into test tubes/bottles as desired.
5 Tubes : 15 ml into 20 x 150 mm test tubes. Bottles : 100 ml into 170 ml bottles.
6 Autoclave at 15 psi pressure at 121°C for 10-15 minutes.(8-10 minutes for tubes,15 minutes for bottles).
