A pre-enrichment medium, manufactured from animal free bases for the isolation of Salmonella, especially injured microorganisms from various food sources.
Composition:
Ingredients : gm/lt.
Veg.Hydrolysate : 10.00
Sodium chloride : 5.00
Disodium hydrogen phosphate : 3.50
Monopotassium hydrogen phosphate : 1.50
Directions:
1. Add 20.00 gm powder to 1.0 liter distilled/deionized water and mix thoroughly.
2. Gently heat and bring to boiling.
3. Dispense into test tubes.
4. Autoclave at 15 psi pressure at 121°C for 15 minutes. | |
