Notes
  Applications:
For the culture of blood clots from patients with suspected enteric fever.
Composition:
Ingredients : gm/lt.
Peptic digest of animal tissue : 20.00
Sodium chloride : 5.00
Sodium taurocholate : 5.00
Directions:
1. Add 30.00 gm powder to distilled/deionized water.
2. Bring volume to 1.0 liter and mix thoroughly.
3. Gently heat and bring to boiling.
4. Autoclave at 15 psi pressure at 121°C for 15 minutes.
5. Cool to 40°C and add 1 ml of Streptokinase solution 100000 units/ml).
6. Mix well and dispense as desired.
