  Applications:
Used for the isolation and enumeration of Bacillus cereus.

Peptone : 1.00
Mannitol : 10.00
Sodium chloride : 2.00
Magnesium sulphate : 0.10
Disodium phosphate : 2.50
Monopotassium phosphate : 0.25
Sodium pyruvate : 10.00
Bromothymol Blue : 0.12
Agar : 15.00
Directions:
1. Add 20.50 gm powder to 475.0 ml distilled/deionized water and mix thoroughly.
2. Gently heat and bring to boiling.
3. Autoclave at 15 psi pressure at 121°C for 15 minutes.
4. Cool to 50°C. Aseptically add 25 ml of sterile egg yolk emulsion and rehydrated contents of 1 vial of Polymixin B Selective Supplement. (35980).
