Yeast extract :3.0 gm/lit.
Pancreatic digest of casein : 4.0 gm/lit.
Peptone : 6.0 gm/lit.
Dextrose: 1.0 gm/lit.
Agar:15.0 gm/lit.
pH at 25 °C : 6.6 ± 0.2
Storage: Store between 8-25 °C.

Notes

Directions :

1.Add 30.5 gm powder to distilled/deionized water.
2.Bring volume to 1.0 liter and mix thoroughly.
3.Autoclave at 15 psi pressure at 121°C for 15 minutes.

Applications:
For antibiotic assay testing, detection of antibiotics in milk, and determination of the antimicrobial effectiveness of antibiotics.
